Japanese Culture

Japan has been in the news a lot recently due to the 2020 Olympics being held in Tokyo (we can't wait!!) and because who doesn't love a Super Mario Prime Minister?! But what exactly does Japanese culture entail?
Japan's culture is as rich as it is wild; as traditional as it is modern. From geisha to anime, samurai, ninja, electronics and cars...Japan has it all. It is super fast paced unless you've wandered into one of the more traditional districts (or Kyoto) which are praised for being relaxing and other worldly.
Tokyo is especially entrancing. So many sights and sounds to behold around every corner; Wonderful themed cafe's, arcade buildings, sports, shopping, you name it! You haven't lived until you've seen a sumo match in person. And it doesn't really matter what you like, there is something for everyone on these beautiful islands.
The northern island sports great winter activities while southern islands (like Okinawa) are tropical and warm.
